Creamy Pork Adobo

Marinate the pork in half the soy sauce and set aside.

In a pan, pour the vinegar and add in the garlic, bay leaves and peppercorns. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.

Add in the pork, water and star anise. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Continue cooking for 45 minutes on low heat until the pork is almost tender.

Add in the remaining soy sauce and brown sugar. Increase the heat to a gentle boil to reduce and thicken the sauce, or for about 15 minutes.

Remove the pork once tender and place in a serving dish.

Bring the sauce to a rapid boil until it becomes thick and almost syrupy. Remove from heat and slowly add in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream while whisking rapidly until smooth.

Pour the sauce over the pork and serve.
