Air Fryer Crispy Sweet Potato Sticks

Clean the sweet potatoes and slice them into evenly sized fry shapes. You may keep the skin on if preferred, though I usually remove it.

There's no requirement to soak the fries in water; you can proceed immediately.

Combine 2 tsp oil, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and cayenne with the fries and mix thoroughly.

Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 180C or 360F.

Place the sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket, brushing the basket with a bit of oil beforehand.

Cook in the air fryer for approximately 10-12 minutes at 180C or 360F.

Afterward, raise the temperature to 200C or 400F and air fry for an additional 4-5 minutes until they are crispy on the outside.

Shake the fries every 3-4 minutes to ensure even cooking.

Serve while hot.
