Yes, we assure you that the ingredients used in MAGGI Noodles are Halaal certified. Please refer to the back of any Maggi 2 Minute Noodles packet.

Yes, some variants contain garlic and onion.

We have learnt that South Africans enjoy their noodles in a variety of ways. Our on-pack instructions were designed to provide the optimal noodles eat for all and will result in your noodles being cooked after 2 minutes. If you like them a little softer, that’s ok too, just cook them a little longer.

MSG is used in our NESTLÉ South Africa MAGGI® Noodles production process as a taste enhancer in the flavour sachet. This is stated on the product packaging and is a permissible flavour enhancer recognised by government. We declare it on pack in line with government’s requirements.
